AfricaBO (Africa Business Opportunities) is a B2B partnership platform operated as a project of Africa Equity Group (official website: africaequitygroup.pro). AfricaBO connects African businesses (merchants) with independent freelance sales agents. This policy describes the data the AfricaBO application actually processes today.

To be confirmed by the site owner: the registered legal entity, its address and the jurisdiction governing this policy.

Account information: your email address and the authentication data needed to sign in (a password managed by our authentication provider).

Freelance sales agent applications: full name, phone number, CV file (PDF/document, max 5 MB) and, optionally, a self-employment (auto-entrepreneur) number.

Company (merchant) applications: company name, registration details, industry, company size, website, address, city and country, company phone numbers, contact person details, description of activity and target markets.

Review records: interview scheduling, meeting status, decisions and internal notes written by authorised HR or admin staff while reviewing an application.

Technical data: the browser stores a session token so you stay signed in. AfricaBO does not currently use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or tracking pixels.

To create and secure your account and verify your email; to review your application, contact you by phone or email and organise an interview or meeting; to activate, pause or refuse access to the agent or merchant workspace; and to prevent fraud and abusive sign-ups.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Agent applications and CVs are visible only to authorised AfricaBO HR staff. Company applications are visible only to authorised AfricaBO administrators. CVs are stored in private storage and are never published.

Data is hosted by our technical provider (Lovable Cloud) to run the service. We do not share your data with other third parties unless required by law.

To be confirmed by the site owner: the exact hosting regions and any international transfer safeguards.

We keep account and application data while your account or application is active and for as long as needed to handle the review and any legal obligation. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

To be confirmed by the site owner: a precise retention period (for example for refused applications, CVs and internal notes).

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, or withdraw your application, by contacting Africa Equity Group through the contact channel published on africaequitygroup.pro. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.

This policy will be updated whenever AfricaBO adds new data processing, providers or payment services. Withdrawals and payments are not active on AfricaBO today.
